Just wrapped an awesome shoot with St Louis based Moosylvania and Pure Protein! We spent the better part of a week in production shooting a series of 5 print ads and 5 commercials for Pure Protein to be released in the coming months. I can’t show anything just yet but we did some killer stuff! Shooting all sports and active lifestyle. Great clients and a fantastic crew, Thanks everyone! Images and footage to come as soon as I can show them.
Just wrapped a quick second shoot for Zumba ZLife Magazine shooting their Aqua Zumba fitness in the pool. If you haven’t tried it, you should, it’s a heck of a workout. It was a fun shoot. We started out above water with this shot (below) and when the rain moved in on us we weather proofed our strobes and went under water and did some fun shots below the surface.
Update: While we were shooting this assignment the client had a video guy doing a little behind the scenes shoot. Check it out here.
And now for something completely different…. The other day we had the opportunity to do something that is a bit different for me. We shot a fashion spread for Zumba’s ZLife Magazine. It has been a long time since I have shot fashion and I found the change to be refreshing and a lot of fun. Here are a few images from the shoot.
Here’s another series of images from the Sunrise Senior Living shoot. This one was a series from a multigenerational get together. The elder woman featured in the center is one of the residents and is a spry 96 years old who seems to have the energy and stamina of someone 20 years younger. She and her gracious family were very generous with time volunteering to be in this shot and later dancing up a storm in a party by the pool! Many thanks to them and my great crew.
We just wrapped a two day shoot for Sunrise Senior Living for their advertising and collateral materials. We had the opportunity to shoot a large group of really great seniors who seem to be loving life in their golden years. Here are just a few images from the card playing shots we did. These folks love their card games. It is serious business for some. Some never go a day without playing.
A while back we shot a little project for Bluefish for Suffolk Construction doing some corporate work for their advertising. Suffolk is a rather large company which builds buildings across the country. We were tasked with shooting portraits of their management and executives. The original the job was produced as clean portraits on grey and I then gave it a twist and took it farther adding a bit of style & flare in post which you can see here. In all we shot about 15 shots, here are just a few.

Just booked a shoot with Saatchi & Saatchi for Lenovo computers. Cool subject matter which of course I cannot divulge at this point. Shoot takes place Sept 22nd – 24th. Will post images as soon as we can!
We just landed a job for Little Debbie Snacks with our friends over at Luckie. Very excited to be working with them again. Not just because they are great to work with but who doesn’t love those Little Debbie Snacks? I used to live on them as a kid. My son who is 4 and usually can’t be torn away from his playing to come see me work has been begging me all day to come on our shoot so he can eat the goodies! Will post the work as soon as it hits the streets.
Pete was hired recently by BlueFish to shoot a series of shots for Suffolk. If you’re not familiar with Suffolk, they are the ones who build many of today’s giant skyscrapers in some of our largest cities. Shot last week in Miami, with 3 more shoots in Palm Beach, Boston and out in LA yet to come!
So we recently had the opportunity to work with SapientNitro on a great job for Traveler’s Insurance. The job required shooting a guy from “the other team” pulling into a parking lot full of a sea of “home team” cars. Being the only person from “the other team” can be somewhat disconcerting to say the least. This tied in perfectly with Traveler’s tag line which is “Travelers takes the scary out of Life”.
Logistically this job was very complex. How do you get control and ability to prop an entire parking lot full of cars, fill it with fans and shoot a generic large stadium? Click more to read on… Continue reading →
